Our Hardscape Process
Evaluate
We inspect your hardscape to identify issues like sinkholes, trip hazards, and shifted pavers, bricks, or stones. We also check step heights and overall safety before creating a plan for the repair.
Schedule
Once the plan is approved, we schedule a work date. Because weather plays a big role in our work, we ask customers to remain flexible if conditions require adjustments. A deposit is required to secure your spot on the schedule.
Clean
The area is thoroughly cleaned to prepare it for repair. Depending on the condition, this may involve sweeping, pressure washing with a surface cleaner, or hand-cleaning individual bricks when necessary.
Repair
A solid base is essential for long-lasting hardscapes. When needed, we remove sections of pavers, bricks, or stones to repair and re-level the base, add new material, and properly compact it before resetting the surface.
Reset
Pavers, bricks, and stones are carefully reset to the correct height and alignment. This helps eliminate trip hazards, improve drainage, and restore a smooth, even surface.
Re-Sand
Once all pavers, bricks, or stones are reset, we fill the joints with polymeric sand, mason sand, or stone dust. This locks the surface in place, helps prevent shifting, and reduces weed growth.
We are not afraid of puzzles.
Before starting most projects, we take “before” photos of the area so each paver, brick, or stone can be returned to its original location. This helps maintain the original pattern and reduces the need to cut replacement pieces whenever possible.
